That’s a 33-percentage-point increase over last year, when 44 percent of employers saw an increase in employees’ mental health needs.

A growing number of restaurants and businesses in Los Angeles have decided cash is no longer king. If you can’t pay via credit card or a digital payment app, you can’t pay at all. That’s a problem, according to City Councilmember Heather Hutt of L.A.’s 10th District. Hutt introduced a motion last week to ban cashless retail businesses in Los Angeles.
